Civic integration exam
The exam will take place in a Dutch Embassy or the Consulate General in the country that you live in. You will talk through a phone to a computer which will check your answers.Knowledge of the Dutch society
You will receive a book with several pictures in it. On the exam you will be asked quesions based on this book. These questions quiz you on your knowledge of the Dutch society and test you on your capability of answering in Dutch. All possible answers are known and it is possible to learn these answers by heart.

In this part of the exam, they test if you can follow a conversation in normal tempo in Dutch. You don’t need to be able to write or read the language. You will be asked to repeat sentences, answer short questions and state opposites.
